HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE AUCTION AS A BIDDER

Welcome! Attending an in-game live auction is a great way to learn about the vast number of rare items the game has accumulated over the years. Whether you are a new player, a returning vet or a grizzled old hat there is much to learn by attending. Each item will be presented by the auctioneer and a brief description of the item will be given to attendees. This information can include the following:

Year/Season
Quantity
Item Hue
Any Sound or Interaction Response
Shard or Event it is from
Minimum Starting Bid

Once the description is complete the item is officially open for bid. This is also an acceptable time to ask any questions you may have about the item. (We highly recommend you do any research needed prior to the auction) We cannot promise an answer to your question at this stage.
You may bid simply by saying your bid amount. (ex. 1M, 10, 10M, 100/100M, 1P)
Your bid will then be acknowledged by the auctioneer. In the event of a flurry of bids in quick succession the highest bid will be acknowledged.
Once the bidding has ended the winning bidder will be announced and will be required to pay for the item at that time. This is done by coming to the auction block and beginning a trade with the auctioneer. (Not paying for an item you have won will result in a permanent banishment from all future auctions)

PROPER BIDDING ETTIQUETTE

Please leave your mount/pets outside of the auction house. Multiple hitching posts are available.
You may NOT bid on your own items. Anyone caught doing this will be banned from submitting items in all future auctions
Minimum Bid Increments
- 1M on items under 19,999,999
- 5M on items under 199,999,999
- 10M on items over 200M
If you make a bid you will be expected to honor it. Failure to pay for the item at the time of winning will be a permanent banishment from all future auctions.
Proxy Bidders will be expected to deposit their maximum item bid with the auction house prior to the auction start.

Auction attendees are expected to operate on the, “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” mantra. Failure to abide by this will result in banishment.
Trolling will not be tolerated. An immediate banishment will result.
The Auction House will operate on a (2) (TWO) Strikes Rule.
- First Strike = Banned from (2) Auctions (Approx. 1MTH)
- Second Strike = Permanent Banishment from all future auctions.
